Algunas veces pensamos que la lectura viene solo de las páginas impresas de cualquier medio inclusive el internet, pero tambien habrán notado que se puede hacer una lectura de la realidad. Cómo? Solo deténgase por un momento a mirar a su alrededor y apreciar los mensajes intrínsecos en cada una de las cosas que le rodean. Por ello me parece crítico lo que en Weblogg-ed se asevera:
…You can’t deny that kids are more willing to put in the time online than most adults. That’s due to many, many diverse and complex reasons, generational divide, digital fluency and work responsibilities among them […]it doesn’t matter if you are a native or an immigrant, white or black, rich or poor, time-stressed or footloose and fancy free, if you’re not willing or able to get literate in the ways of the Read/Write Web, you will either become irrelevant or left behind. Being willing but not being able because of economics or geography is simply morally unacceptable. But being able but not willing is absolute foolishness, because at end of the day, if you’re not swimming in it, you’ll be drowning in it.
Tenemos que aprender a leer nuestra realidad sino queremos quedarnos analfabetos. De otra manera los blogs creados con fin educativo. no estarían cumpliendo su rol. Que nuestros niños tengan a quien regresar a ver cuando de ayuda en el manejo de información se trate.
Un buen salto sería por ejemplo usar Writely y poder compartir información entre estudiantes o entre amigos. Tener la posiblidad de usar un combo bookmarlet que nos permita agregar lo sobresaliente de nuestras lecturas tanto a Del.icio.us como a Yahoo MyWeb 2
